you get a little out of breath,
but the view is much better!"

There’s something unique about Sardinia. Yes, the Mediterranean island is replete with stunning beaches, mighty forests, and prehistoric ruins. But the true marvel lies in its residents: Sardinia has one of the densest populations of nonagenarians and centenarians, or people over 90 and 100 years old.

We Are Back!
In-Person Programs Reopen
OZ Online Programming Remains
New flooring, cabinets, paint, air filtration, and members. Temperatures taken, masks worn, social distancing, oh my!
The locals won the Super Bowl and the locals won at the reopening of in-person OPICA, all in the same week.
The wait was long, but the familiar and new faces were glorious! Huge interactive boards kept us informed of today's menu, today's news, brought games to life, and brought the OZ program members online to share programming with in-person members.
Some said it couldn't be done...it was done!

Anne Galbraith, Clinical Director and Art Therapist at OPICA is moving to her next step in life after 23 years at OPICA. We are grateful for the wonderful 23 years and wish Anne well in everything she does. She has touched so many lives of OPICA members, caregivers, families, staff, and MFT counseling interns.
You can honor Anne in two ways. You can send a tribute to her via OPICA at https://www.opica.org/send-a-tribute/ - or you may take out a sponsorship or tribute in her honor at our 2022 Forget-Me-Not Luncheon in our Luncheon Journal (see below).
