The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Northwestern Division (CENWD) – Seattle District (CENWS) intends to collaborate with industry as we prepare the acquisition planning and solicitations on several projects for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs American Lake (VAAL) Medical Center Tacoma, Washington. The Government provided an update and overview of the VAAL program. This presentation will go over the basics of CMMC levels 1-3 and how it will affect defense contractors. We will talk through the details of the requirement, the steps towards compliance, and setting up small businesses to be successful with NIST 800-171 and CMMC.
