We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Caitlin Harpster to Director of Development at the Allegheny County Parks Foundation. Caitlin previously served as our Individual Giving Manager and has over 12 years of fundraising experience in Pittsburgh's nonprofit sector. She is excited to deepen her impact on the county parks and take on this new position. Congratulations, Caitlin!

Carol R. Brown Free Audio Tour Coming This Spring!
We are thrilled to officially announce that the Carol R. Brown Sculpture Garden, located in Hartwood Acres Park, will have a free self-guided audio tour component beginning this spring. We have been developing this audio tour over the past year with Shiftworks Community + Public Arts (formerly the Office for Public Art) and Allegheny County, thanks to the support of The Richard King Mellon Foundation. Park 'til Dark
Thank you to everyone who participated in our survey about the future of Park 'til Dark in our last newsletter. Based on the feedback we have received we have decided to replace Park 'til Dark with an event that is more engaging and meaningful for our audience. We are currently brainstorming ideas and promise to share updates when we have them later this spring. In the meantime if you have any more feedback, please let Jess know!

Pour at the Park
Pour at the Park will take place on Saturday, May 17, in South Park and Saturday, October 11, in North Park. Tickets for South Park will go on sale in March, stay tuned for more information!
The Friends of Harrison Hills Park will again be part of the Great Backyard Bird Count, an annual event that engages bird watchers of all ages and abilities in counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of bird populations. Join the fun on Saturday, February 15, from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm. They will have binoculars, ID guides and experienced birders willing to help. Learn more!
