Towing professionals know that special caution should be practiced when placing floor jacks or GoJaks® under any vehicle.

Never just slide your jack under the vehicle and start pumping away like a NASCAR pit crew. Selecting an appropriate jack point will ensure your safety and reduce the risk of damage to the vehicle. Visually inspect for rust damage at jack point on older vehicles.

There are some tools to help save you headaches. A hockey puck on top of your floor jack helps keep metal jack saddles from causing damages. The pinch weld adaptor assures that you’re using the manufacture's recommended jack point when you can’t access the vehicle’s OEM jack.
