Slot Supplier AGS Honored for its Employee Programs for Veterans Casino Journal
“At AGS, we recognize that because of their backgrounds and experience, veterans bring leadership, technical skills, and a spirit of collaboration to our company and are valuable contributors to our success,” said David Lopez, president and CEO of AGS as well as a U.S. Army veteran. “We have made a firm commitment to not only hire more veterans, but to provide support and resources to our veteran employees and their families so they can thrive at work and in their communities. We’re honored to receive the Gold Medallion through HIRE Vets and are passionate about further bolstering our veteran’s initiatives through our work with America’s Warrior Partnerships and our focus on hiring and retaining veterans.”

“My dad is such a great man,” he told PEOPLE’s Jess Cagle. “I know even though he presented himself as put-together, I know that war impacted him and affected him; I would start to pull those feeling I saw from my own father into Jack.”

Organizations like America’s Warrior Partnership are committed to empowering communities to address issues like veteran mental health. It fills the gaps that exist between current veteran service organizations by helping nonprofits connect with the veterans, military members and families in need: bolstering their efficacy and improving their results.

For example, Community Integration is an America’s Warrior service model that emphasizes holistic support inclusive of mental health, ensuring veterans are empowered to achieve a better quality of life.

Empowering Veterans Through Volunteerism
 Homeland Magazine
Our corporate relationship manager, Joshua Wilson, is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps who pursued a law degree after leaving the service. In addition to his role collaborating with businesses to empower their veteran employees, Joshua volunteers in his community by helping veterans with accessing their benefits and findings programs that offer financial, food and housing assistance. Another member of our team who regularly volunteers is Lori Noonan, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and our director of development and marketing. Lori serves as a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem advocating for children who are living in foster care as a result of abuse or neglect.
