Seeking neighbors with a little time to spare and skills to share. Jefferson Park needs to fill two board positions. Information below for you to consider.

" When a vacancy occurs during the year, the Nominating Committee will present the Board with a list of interested candidates for the position. "

"4. Any vacancies occurring during the year of any Officer or Area Representative shall be filled by appointment by the Board at the next regularly scheduled meeting." (that is February 23,2022)

"The Officers must be residents of the Neighborhood and hold office for a term of one year or until their successors are elected".

What You Need to Know

There are two open position on the JPNA Board! Seeking interested Jefferson Park Residents

The first open position is that of Area #6 Representative. Candidates ideally live within the area, but others nearby may also serve. The Area #6 Rep acts as a liaison for neighbors in their assigned area and delivers welcome packets to new residents, as well as distributes doorhangers. A job for an energetic dog walker! Area Reps are full voting members of the board--just with the special tasks as described.

"Member at Large" is the second open board position. Do you have time to help and to weigh in on decisions affecting our neighborhood? For example, projects such as The Linear Park, Grant Road, Monument signs, Plant Sales, traffic circles, and other Fundraisers are just a few of the ways a Member at Large could contribute to the board.
