Replaceable Bolt-On Cutters for Core Barrels |

Bit Brokers International is excited to announce the launch of its new product, replaceable bolt-on cutters for core barrels. For many years Bit Brokers' customers have had to custom fabricate each barrel for cutters to be used in very hard rock. Then, they would again need to torch on the barrel and weld more cutters on when the originals wore out. This process went on over and over. Now, a barrel only needs to be fabricated one time and then after the cutters are easily replaced by removing and installing dowel pins.

New Durable JeffCut Holder |

Jeffrey Machine Inc. has now designed and produced the new JeffCut (patent pending) .990 Machined Round Dragon Holder that accepts .990 conical teeth as well as the Jeffrey Machine Dragon’s Tooth®. This holder has proved to be more durable and gets less wear over time than other standard holders. We expect to see great success from this new holder design, and we are already installing them in core barrels for all our current orders in the shop.

Realtime Shaft Verticality With SHAPE®

The Shaft Area Profile Evaluator (SHAPE®) from Pile Dynamics evaluates shaft verticality, shape, and volume. SHAPE® models are available to service wet or dry excavations. Widely used for QA/QC on projects, SHAPE® provides insight into the shaft’s geometry deep within the excavation. SHAPE® is completely autonomous with no electronic cabling connecting SHAPE® to the surface tablet during testing. SHAPE® can be advanced through the excavation at approximately one foot per second, offering simplicity in analysis with 3D profile views. PDI’s SiteLink® technology allows SHAPE® to be operated onsite or remotely.
