CCR&R of NW Iowa Training Schedule

Iowa CCR&R is funded to offer core trainings to assure that providers are meeting minimum requirements. As funding allows, we try to offer diverse and higher-level trainings. Please contact your Training Specialist  for a list of additional trainings that may be available. Our Child Care Consultants assist with professional development planning and can make referrals to partner programs that will help providers in following their plans for higher education.   Exact times and dates for each training are available on the DHS Training Registry and are subject to change.  Please be advised that enrollment on the DHS Training Registry is required to receive credit for all trainings.  Iowa weather is unpredictable and may result in the cancellation of trainings. See here for the weather cancellation policy.

Jennifer is a mom to 5 amazing children; Dylan, Bryleigh, Brayden, Jaedyn and Gavyn. She was a home child care provider for 12 years before accepting the Training Specialist position.  "We are kept busy running our kids to volleyball, baseball, softball, football and wrestling practices and games/meets. In our free time we love camping and are huge movie addicts. I am excited to be a part of CCR&R and find all the behind the scenes workings fascinating. If there is anything I can help you with feel free to contact me anytime!" - Jeni
