Join Dr. Stephanie Adams and Hannah Ayala in College Station for this hands-on workshop. This two-day workshop will feature a tour of the Texas Plant Disease Diagnostic Laboratory with demonstrations of advanced clinical tours. Disease tours on campus will be held to discuss field diagnosis and in-class sessions will cover inspections of signs and symptoms.

This "Virtual Renewal" will extend your Wildfire Risk Reduction Qualification for a period of three (3) years. To maintain your Wildfire Risk Reduction Qualification, you can either retake the two-day course and have a five (5) year extension or you can attend this course and extend for three (3) years. This 5.5-hour workshop will discuss wildfire reduction methodologies and practical
application in the field.

Our primary objective for this event is to unite individuals from across Bexar County to engage in discussions regarding the present condition and the future prospects of our urban forest. The proceeds generated from this conference will go toward supporting Bexar Branches Alliance Programming initiatives, which encompass native tree planting projects, tree maintenance and resilience initiatives, as well as educational programs aimed at connecting our community with our urban forest. | | |

The Texas A&M Forest Service and Texas Chapter ISA have developed the Wildfire Risk Reduction Qualification to introduce you to terms and principles to incorporate into your arboriculture practice. You will explore how wildfire
moves through a landscape and mitigation options you could perform or bring to the attention of your client. A written exam and field test will need to be
successfully passed to gain the qualification.
