March 7-14 is California Arbor Week, and we're celebrating with a mini-festival at the Palo Alto Art Center! Outdoor activities include arborist-led tree walks at 10:00 and 11:00 a.m., arts and crafts, a “Stump an Arborist” booth where you can ask your most challenging tree questions, and more!

Artist Paz de la Calzada is our special guest on the tree walks, adding an artist’s perspective alongside arborists Katherine Naegele and Uriel Hernandez. After the 11:00 a.m. tree walk, she’ll lead participants in a gallery tour of her art project inspired by El Palo Alto, the oldest redwood tree in the area that gives the city of Palo Alto its name.
