Spotlight on

Gateway Certificate Program

Since 2018, T2 has partnered with Gateway Community Technical College and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) to offer a 96-hour Transportation Construction Certificate Program. The program, which includes training in Work Zone Safety and Low Cost Roadway Safety Improvements, provides participants with an entry point into the transportation construction field.

Cireka Paris, a 2021 graduate of the program, recently found employment with KYTC Department of Highways. Paris praised the program saying, "I absolutely loved every second of it. I learned a lot about the career path I wanted to take. I would highly recommend this program to anyone. There are so many people who are willing to help out those who complete the program."
