"American by birth, Irish by the grace of God!"

Hello Ladies of the Daughters of Erin,

We're busy planning the annual, traditional Irish Breakfast! We count on all of our members to help host a wonderful event each year! Please review the details, sign up to volunteer, bake goodies and more!

Green Season activities are coming together, we'll update as we get new information!

Kathy Burke and Peggy Shanahan are teaming up for the Nominations Committee. If you are interested in running for the Board, it will be presented at the April meeting. The elected offices are: President, Vice President, Secretary and three board delegates.

I am looking forward to seeing you all in March at the Breakfast, Proclamation Day, Saint Patrick's Day and for Easter this year!

Thank you,
Sharon

CHARITIES

Thank you for the many donations for the Valentine's Day gifts for West Park nursing home residents in memory of long-time member Ruth Kunkel.

March charities are helping with the Irish Breakfast, goodies and raffle baskets.
We will also assemble Charity Easter Baskets for Franklin County Children's Services, Thursday, March 21 at 5:30 pm.

The Kobacker House used some of the money we donated this year to give gifts to patients there on Valentine's Day ... balloons, flowers and a handwritten note from The Daughters of Erin.
