Memorial Hospital Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with its own Board of Directors, by-laws and Articles of Incorporation. We raise support for and manage 26 funds that provide financial assistance to Memorial Health System's patients and employees.
In January, we had the following impact because of our supporters:
349 medications for cancer patients
70 medications for cardiac patients
29 medications for endocrinology patients
14 breast imaging services for women
4 orders of medical supplies for ostomy patients
purchased a non-invasive home ventilation system for a patient
covered 12 months rental fee for a PT/INR home machine for a patient
We've also secured $2,335,478 in grant funding so far this year.
Carter's Champions presented us with a donation of $116,100 from their fundraising efforts last year! We are in awe of their support and incredibly grateful for all the hard work John Carter, Jourdan Derouen, Liz Gaulke, their board and volunteers put into each event! This will make a huge impact in the lives of Memorial Health System’s breast cancer patients!
The Wiggin’ Out For Cancer Ribbon Walk is a joint fundraiser with Memorial oncology staff members and Pink Heart Funds to help cancer patients in our community. Half of the proceeds will benefit our Oncology Patient Fund which provides medication, transportation and nutritional assistance to Memorial Health System‘s cancer patients. Join us Saturday, April 29th to support those battling cancer in our community!
You can order Foundation t-shirts, cups and more on our online store! We recently added insulated tumblers from our fundraiser. 100% of proceeds from these items will stay in our community to help our neighbors in need.
We manage 26 funds that provide financial support to Memorial Health System's patients and employees. What makes us unique is that 100% of donations to the Foundation directly benefit the fund of your choosing and stay in our community. We have several donor programs for our supporters to choose from and you get to pick the fund you would like your donation to benefit.
