Kindergarten
Valentine's Day Tea Party
After much practice with manners throughout the week, the kindergarten classes welcomed the Queen of Hearts into their Valentine's Day Tea Party. Breakfast and tea was shared with all our friends. A special book was even made for the Queen of Hearts with help from every student and some of the teachers too.
|
Because it was such a special day, the graceful Queen of Hearts bestowed each Kindergarten student with a valentine of their very own before departing to spread love and kindness throughout the rest of the world. She felt so loved and welcomed by our Kindergarten classes that she promised she would come visit again next year.

Open House
This is a time for all students and faculty come together to show parents and the Davis community what we've been working on. Classes and teachers create a warm space for community members to enjoy viewing the children's work. Each class will also pick a food relating to their current area of study and the class will serve that particular food for the evening. In this way many visitors will get to taste what the students are learning as well as see it. The DWS fiddlers and separate strings classes perform throughout open house truly making it a wondrous night and impactful for all of your senses.
