76ECID Board Meeting Recap

At recent meetings of the 76ECID Board of Directors, easements and MoDOT environmental reviews have been discussed. 76ECID financials, a project financing update and Great River Engineering contract adjustments were carefully reviewed and approved.

Value engineering has saved $247,545 on undergrounding utilities in Segments 1 and 2 since original design, and construction estimates were received from five different providers in July 2024.

The 76ECID Board also reviewed the second round of design options for continuing the natural Ozarks and Branson persona created for Segments 1 and 2, into the redesign of the intersection for 165/Gretna and West 76 Country Boulevard. Final drawings and cost estimates are still in progress, but we hope to have Branson’s love of country on full display at this important crossroads for America’s 250th birthday in 2026.

76ECID Board of Director meetings are usually held on the last Wednesday of every month in the Branson City Hall Administrative Conference Room. These meetings are always open to the public. You can find out who serves on this Board and see all the meeting agendas, minutes and recorded meeting content 24/7 at Branson76.com under the LEADERSHIP tab.
