[February] [2021]
Neighborhood Music School: Scholarships Applications are now available!
‌

Dear NMS families and friends,

As we head into February and toward the Spring, we do so with the determination for a bright future, the resilience of a strong community that has undergone insurmountable odds, and the awareness that we are all in this together. This is our strength, and our support, and yet another avenue in which music and the arts plays important roles. Each month gets us closer to reopening and renewal, and for that we are are grateful.

We have all undergone great loss, as well. As this story about the work being done at Adventist Health White Memorial Hospital demonstrates, Boyle Heights has been at the center of the pandemic for as long as it has raged in Los Angeles, and many of us have lost dear friends, beloved family members and the security of feeling safe and supported. In the months ahead, we are working on finding our ways to use music to heal and pay tribute to our families and loved ones.

Financial Aid and Scholarships are open!

Applications are due by February 22nd, and scholarships/financial aid will take effect on March 1, 2021.
