At My Sister’s Closet, love isn’t just something we celebrate in February — it’s something we live out every day.
You see it in the volunteers who greet each guest with kindness and help someone find the perfect outfit for a job interview, a special occasion, or a fresh start. You feel it in the welcoming atmosphere where women connect, share stories, and lift one another up. And you witness it in the quiet moments of confidence — when a shopper catches her reflection and smiles, reminded of her worth.
Our boutique is more than a place to shop. It’s a community built on compassion, dignity, and purpose.
Every purchase at My Sister’s Closet directly supports the work of Bloom for Women, helping provide safe housing, trauma-informed care, job readiness training, and pathways to independence for survivors of trafficking and exploitation in the Lehigh Valley. What may feel like a small purchase becomes something much bigger — a safe night of rest, a counseling session, a warm meal, or an opportunity for healing.
Community is also at the heart of our mission. From generous donors who fill our racks with beautiful, gently loved clothing, to volunteers who give their time and hearts, to loyal shoppers who return week after week — each person plays a role in creating a space where love shows up in action.
And for the women employed through Bloom’s workforce development efforts, My Sister’s Closet is a place of growth. Here, survivors build confidence, gain job skills, and experience the support of a team that believes in their future.
This Valentine’s season, we’re grateful for the incredible community that makes all of this possible.
Thank you for choosing to shop with purpose, give generously, and stand alongside survivors on their journey toward healing and independence.
Because at My Sister’s Closet, love truly looks like community.
