What wellness programs do you feel employees would benefit the most from at this current time?
Mental health programs. We have heard from many employees and contacts that our mental health webinars are most needed and appreciated right now.
What is your favorite part about corporate/employee wellness?
My favorite part is helping someone learn something new. If they can take away a small bit of information, it can make a difference in improving their overall health.
What is your go to wellness tip for your corporate clients/employees?
Try to host events around an observance. For example, February is American Heart Month and hosting a Healthy Hearts webinar around that observance would strengthen employees awareness of the observation.
What advice would you give a company to enhance their wellness culture?
Encourage employees to attend the webinars by sending out invites/registrations through Zoom or MS Teams to participants which will update their calendars to maximize participation in events. Also, scheduling events based on observances and providing incentives (food, wellness points, etc.) to attend.
How do you feel your employees are impacted by providing them wellness programming?
We hear that the webinars are very informative. Employees are getting the information they need on the topic being presented. Other related items we hear, revolve around ease of seeing slides and using the Q&A function so they can retain the information.
What self-care activity do you find benefits you the most?
Mobility is the most important activity at my age. More than how much you lift or how long you work out, being in the right positions when lifting weights or walking and running makes all the difference to stay healthy.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I was an all-state tennis player in high school.
