SWEET SURRENDER
We often hear the expressions, "
It is what it is." or "
Let go and let God." Using scripture, Twelve Step spirituality and life experience, we will explore the implications of these words. We will explore the process to truly be able to let go and accept life on life's terms. "
Spiritual bypassing" is letting go too soon before we have felt the feelings that are necessary to heal.

THE SECOND HALF OF LIFE: The Time of Life to Become Full of Life
Will our second half of life be a time of losing life or becoming more full of life? It depends on whether we discover and live our purpose, our special way of giving and receiving love and life, which is as unique as our DNA and fingerprint. We spend our life discovering who we really are, but once we come to embrace our true essence, we can choose what is congruent with it and drop what is not. This liberating perspective will enable us to overcome obstacles, resolve midlife crises and burnout, and develop our giftedness in "being" awake to the fullness of the present moment.

GOD'S MERCIFUL FORGIVENESS
The path to forgiveness may seem difficult to follow. However, forgiveness does not deny the anger and pain one feels but rather channels these natural emotional reactions away from destructive tendencies that block the voice of Jesus in your life. The surprise comes in opening your heart and saying, "yes" to take that path and experience the peace, love, healing, joy and direction which Jesus promises. Our God is a God of surprises - you never know what lies ahead for you.
