Events you won’t want to miss
| | January in Review: Celebrating Impactful Moments | | January set the tone for an exciting year ahead. From the energy and excellence of the Canadian Culinary Championship to meaningful media moments like Caroline Phillips’ feature on the Moffatt brothers and Bruyère Health Foundation’s $25M campaign, we were proud to help bring powerful stories and unforgettable experiences to life. | | In the Spotlight: Bruyère Health | | |
At KoW Connected, we’re inspired by the Moffatt brothers’ leadership and proud to work alongside the Bruyère Health Foundation team in support of the Living Well, Aging Boldly campaign cabinet.
Bruyère Health’s important work was recently highlighted in Caroline in the Capital, showcasing this ambitious $25-million initiative and its impact on strengthening care for people with complex medical needs — helping more individuals live well and age with dignity, compassion, and support.
| | Canadian Culinary Championship: A Weekend to Remember | |
From January 30-31, Ottawa took centre stage as the Canadian Culinary Championship returned to Rogers Centre, bringing together Canada’s top chefs, passionate food lovers, and an incredible community. As a strategic partner, KoW Connected worked alongside the Championship team to support public relations, promotion, and digital storytelling — helping amplify the event’s impact before, during, and after the weekend.
We were proud to see this work reflected in strong media coverage, including Caroline Phillips’ feature highlighting Ottawa chef Jason Sawision’s bronze podium finish, as well as Peter Hum's coverage in the Ottawa Citizen, which captured the talent, energy, and charitable impact at the heart of the event.
| | Supporting The Snowsuit Fund: Ways to Get Involved | |
At KoW, some of the most meaningful work we do begins with an idea — and SnowBall is one of them. Created by KoW as a brand-new event concept, SnowBall was designed specifically for 50 Sussex, transforming the venue’s three floors into three unique experiences. Since its debut in 2020, the event has brought people together during Ottawa’s winter season in support of The Snowsuit Fund.
Now a signature celebration, SnowBall blends community, elegance, and purpose — all while helping local children stay warm when they need it most. We are grateful to the Royal Canadian Geographic Society for welcoming us back to 50 Sussex to host SnowBall where it all began.
SnowBall 2026
Date: Wednesday, March 4
Location: 50 Sussex
What to Expect: An elevated winter evening featuring cocktails, entertainment, and a shared commitment to giving back.

For women looking to make an impact together, there’s another meaningful opportunity ahead. On March 2, The Snowsuit Fund will be one of three charities featured at 100 Women+ Who Care’s upcoming giving event — an inspiring evening where collective generosity creates real impact.
