40 Years...

Serving as Living Witnesses of

God's Love


"Pat couldn't have been nicer! The ride she provided made such a difference in my life!" In one afternoon, two VIS friends called our office asking us to pass along words of "thanks" to volunteer Pat who had provided them with rides to the grocery store and a medical appointment. "That volunteer was so kind and considerate!"


Pat is one of thousands of Christians in Kent County who have been serving as living witnesses of God's love through VIS over the past 40 years! These small acts of kindness (raking a yard, offering a friendly visit, making a small home repair, providing a ride) day-after-day, year-after-year are GROWING the kingdom of God in West Michigan!! Thank you to every church volunteer since 1986 who has connected with an opportunity to serve as a living witness of God's love through VIS!

An Unexpected Gift!

Financial support came in an unexpected way last month! A longtime VIS friend, Lorraine, used Integrity Real Estate Services to help sell her condo. Integrity Real Estate Services is committed to partnering with the community by contributing 10% of their portion of the proceeds to a charitable organization of their client’s choosing. Lorraine chose VIS. “Of course I chose VIS! My volunteers are angels that have been sent from heaven and I would not know what to do without VIS and all the support I have received over the years. It is my way of giving back.”
