Women over the age of 50 are among the fastest growing groups of entrepreneurs. But often, they don't have the same access to digital tools that are constantly changing. To close the digital divide, the Women’s Business Center of Northern Ohio and the Cleveland Foundation developed Encore.

Encore is for women business owners aged 50 or older. Over the course of the 8-week program, entrepreneurs will learn the branding basics, how to create and manage their own website, simple graphic design and social media best practices. New to the program this year, Encore participants will have the opportunity to operate a pop-up space in the Corner Shop Collective retail incubator! Applications close February 13th at 12:00 p.m. More details and a schedule: https://www.wbcohio.org/encore.

The Foster Grandparent Program at East End Neighborhood House is seeking volunteers age 55+ to provide tutoring to children in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

It's generally for 20 hours per week with children in the classroom. A stipend is given for the tutoring hours per month.
