Chi Omega Christmas Market:
Check Presentation
Wow! Rainbow Days is so honored to have been a beneficiary of the 2019 Chi Omega Christmas Market . This Tuesday morning, we were beyond grateful to find out we received $40,000 in support of our Kids’ University summer camp for homeless children. This was above and beyond what was originally pledged to Rainbow Days; we are tremendously grateful!

Thank you to everyone involved with this year’s Chi Omega Christmas Market, which DOUBLED its fundraising goal by raising more than $560,000 for beneficiaries and scholarship recipients ! Additionally, a special shoutout goes to Lizz Lawson , who has been a wonderful board liaison to Rainbow Days from the market this year!

Volunteer Opportunities:
Easter Eggstravaganza
Our annual Easter Eggstravaganza is just a month away, and we need the help of generous volunteers and donors like you to make the day wonderful for the 500 homeless children and family members who will attend.

Volunteer opportunities for this family outing on March 28 include serving lunch, running carnival games, helping distribute Easter baskets and fulfilling other critical duties. Placements are limited, so make sure you sign up and reserve your spot today!

Additionally, we are still in need of in-kind donations of filled Easter eggs , stuffed animals and Easter baskets for the infants, teens and moms who will attend this special springtime event. Please sign up to give what you can to support and bring joy to these children and families.
PLEASE NOTE: As a reminder, prior to volunteering, all volunteers must complete a volunteer application AND, for those who will be working with children and are 18 or older, must have a cleared criminal background check on file with Rainbow Days. If you have not yet completed an application, please fill it out here . The background check will be emailed to you after you submit the application. Please contact Volunteer & Events Manager Sunni Roaten with questions.

Partnership Highlight:
Texas A&M MSC
Spencer Leadership Conference
On Feb. 8, our Family Connection team was thrilled to bring 47 children to the Texas Rangers Youth Academy to spend a day with student delegates from the Texas A&M University MSC Spencer Leadership Conference . Together, they enjoyed lunch, played wiffle ball and made friendship bracelets while bonding and discussing their goals for the future.

Special thanks go to this wonderful group of Aggies for making such a special outing possible! One-on-one time with encouraging mentors helps homeless children feel more confident about their hopes and dreams and helps them see that they, too, can achieve college one day.
