HSC Spotlight: Beat the Heat!

As the weather gets warmer, we see a rise in kittens arriving at the Humane Society of Charlotte and at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Care and Control Kitten Orphanage.
Help prevent overcrowding in shelters and unwanted kitten litters this spring by spaying or neutering your cat

Have A Heart this Valentine's Day!
|
|
Many of the animals that we take in to our shelter have pre-existing medical conditions that require extra special care. Snickers, a dog that recently came to HSC, needed x-rays and eventually, a leg amputation after being hit by a car. Other needs can range from heartworm disease treatment, special surgeries, expensive medications, diagnostic tests, and maintenance therapies.
The cost associated with many of these special medical cases exceed our resources, but we never turn an animal way. We created the Have a Heart medical fund to support these animals and that fund is supported by individual donors. Your financial support will enable us to continue saving more animals who enter our doors in search of a new loving home.
Celebrate Valentine's Day all month and have a heart for the animals that need it most.
