Be-in Community Gathering with South Street
Ages: Families with children of all ages; parent or guardian must attend

Come enjoy your family and friends while exploring our
selection of fun games, toys, books, art materials, and more. South Street Centre and Boulder Creek Rec. Hall team up to help promote family and friends time at our Bear Creek Facility. Around noon we gather for a mid-day meal, so bring your lunch if you'd like to join us for conversation and the general merriment that happens when children gather to eat.

Outdoor play for young children. Kids work hands on with outdoor tools and enjoy the redwoods, river, and play in nature.
Nature-based education is, by definition, place-based education. And no matter where we are, when we enter into a classroom, we bring our place, and the history of that place, with us.

Energetic dance class for kids 6-9years to learn
basics dance moves and an introduction to hip hop.

YOUTH RADIO SHOW
Location: KBCZ Office Highway 9
January 24th- February 28th
$80 for 6 weeks
Kids will write and create their own radio content and be live on air for 5 weeks. Show will be live on 90.1FM KBCZ from 3:30-4pm each Friday. Kids will prepare for following week's show
4-5pm at the BC Recreation Center.

In this class we will learn how to read chord and scale diagrams, many first position chords and scales, the 12-bar blues, easy rock tunes, some riffs from classic tunes, good technique for picking and strumming, how to listen well and count the beats to any tune, some easy music theory, and lots more. All material for the class will be given free to the all who attend. Students should have their own guitar.
Steve Donato is a guitar major graduate of Boston's Berklee College of Music, with more than 20 years playing and teaching experience. References on request.
