Talia’s is excited to host Chef Kwame Williams for a Jamaican pop-up dinner, 3 nights only!
Chef’s Background: Chef Kwame Williams graduated the Institute of Culinary Education in 2006 and began his culinary career at fine dining establishments such as The Ryland Inn, The Bernards’ Inn, and Pleasantdale Chateau. Before the pandemic, Kwame held the role of Chef and Partner of Vital Dining (Vital), based in Montclair, NJ. Chef Kwame was the winner of the Food Network’s cooking competition, Cooks vs. Cons. In 2018, the James Beard House invited Kwame to cook a Caribbean themed dinner. Kwame also contributed to the James Beard Foundation's cookbook, Waste Not, bringing awareness to food waste and sustainability. Kwame’s support of youth-based initiatives such as No Kid Hungry, Edible Schoolyard, and Montclair Community Farms led to his invitation to the James Beard Foundation’s Chef's Boot Camp. Chef Kwame currently works as a private chef, catering to high-end clients in the tri-state area.
