Falafels are originally an Egyptian food. There are a variety of options for spices and cooking and I will offer both here. I have never really been a big fan of falafel, but my kids love them and aside from the deep fried variety, they are a great source of protein if you are vegetarian and also are filling without being high in calories.
This delicious dessert bread is a perfect substitution for a brownie. It contains much less fat and fewer calories and uses pureed fruit to substitute some of the fat. The fat used is coconut oil which is super healthy for you.

One slice of this delicious bread is just under 200 calories! Reduce the sugar by half and eliminate the nuts and chocolate chips and you are down to 120 calories a slice.

Easy to make and delicious to eat!
Class Spotlight: STRONG by Zumba
If you haven't tried this class it's worth checking out. As a HIIT class, it's highly modifiable to suit different fitness levels, and combines kickboxing moves with more intense moves to create a total body workout that leaves you feeling amazing!
