Message from our CEO
Love is in the air in February! Valentine’s Day and Family Day remind us all to focus on the most important people in our lives. Habitat HEARTland would like to thank each person who has become a part of our family by volunteering with us, donating funds or products for our ReStores and sharing our vision of a world where every one has a safe and decent place to live. You have a chance to celebrate this work with us on Thursday, February 13 at a Key Ceremony for two local families on Forbes Street in London. This is a great opportunity to reflect on how many dedicated members of our community came together to turn an empty lot (formerly Manor Park School) lot into a neighbourhood with homes for 17 local families. We also invite you to visit our newest ReStore location at 611 Wonderland Road at Oxford Street in London.  It is our hope that this beautiful open-concept commercial space in North West London will make it possible for even more people to shop, donate and volunteer at the ReStore and find out about how Habitat for Humanity is making a difference in Oxford, Middlesex, Elgin and Perth counties. Please continue to visit our six additional ReStore locations in London, Woodstock, St. Thomas, Stratford and Listowel. Your visits to the ReStores make it possible for us to continue to make affordable homeownership a reality, which is what we love to do!
