Vaccine provider test available

Chicago Dental Society member dentists who want to join the front-line fight against COVID-19 as vaccine providers are a step closer. After an emergency state rule change, the Illinois State Dental Society recently made available a test for dentists to complete so they may volunteer as vaccine providers at state mass vaccination sites. If you missed it, read the ISDS email and link to the site to receive access to the test, which is free to ISDS members.

Your Access Code and Personal Agenda are coming soon! On Friday, Feb. 19, all registered attendees will receive an email with an Access Code to sign on to the Midwinter Meeting platform. Portions of the platform are not "live" until the meeting begins on Feb. 25, but this early access will provide you with time to set up your profile and become acquainted with the platform before the launch of the meeting. Shortly afterward, you will receive a second email that includes your Personal Agenda of your selected lectures. This email also will include your registration and sequence numbers and a link to add lectures or upgrade to the all-access package if you'd like. Special daily chat room connects mentors, mentees Calling all Mentors! We cordially invite you to participate in the 2021 Virtual Midwinter Meeting Mentorship Networking Program. We have an hour dedicated each day of the meeting to allow mentors to meet up with those they have mentored over the year. Important Note about Lectures Keep in mind that simply registering for the Midwinter Meeting does not get you into any lectures except select 1-credit courses in the Corporate Learning Theater. In order to access lectures, you must take the next step and either buy individual lectures at $50 each or purchase the unlimited package at $129 (best value) to access all lectures live or on-demand. If you buy individual lectures, those are the only ones you will have access to both during the live meeting and on-demand session March 1-15. In order to access all 117 lectures, even those on-demand, you must purchase the all-access package. Volunteers are needed at the CDS Foundation Dental Clinic in Wheaton. Volunteer for a full day, or a morning or afternoon of your choosing. Dentists who are interested and available can contact Marta at 630.260.8530 or by email at clinic@cdsfound.org. We follow Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS) safety guidelines and provide appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) so that volunteers and patients feel safe at the clinic.
