Hot off the presses...LPEA's board JUST unanimously approved a ground-breaking partnership that will allow LPEA to source roughly half our power from current power provider Tri-State and half from other sources. This is a historic move that (once effective) will decrease costs by an average of $7 million a year and decrease our carbon footprint by 50%. Read more below about how this news could impact you.

Heads up! Drones flying in our area from now until July
Watch the skies! From early February to July, LPEA will be using drones to survey our equipment. With nearly 2,000 miles of overhead line and 40,000 poles, drone surveys save significant time and costs.
