Welcome to Carpe Datum’s weekly newsletter, the Federal Data Prospector (Vol. 4, Issue 26), the only publication of its kind dedicated exclusively to Data & Analytics companies that share our passion for serving the Public Sector. While the vast majority of our loyal readers may find subject matters like commercial information services and analytical software tools fascinating, some of the more esoteric aspects of data science, such as data management and governance, might not pack the same punch. However, as most of you know, it’s difficult to get to “data-driven decision making” without these foundational capabilities. That is the Navy’s focus in our featured opportunity – identifying technologies and companies that can support their Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) Framework. We hope you enjoy and prosper!
