USCIS expects the solution to utilize AI, ML, OCR and Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) to classify, categorize, extract, and validate the extracted content.

 

 

In other data news, on February 3rd, C4ISRNET published an article entitled Pentagon takes own ‘Pulse’ with internal data dashboard. In this story, Colin Demarest and Joe Gould describe how a new dashboard called Pulse is driving DoD's data-driven insights, supporting the implementation of the National Defense Strategy and other critical endeavors.

 

  • The Defense Department has since established the CDAO and brought (Craig) Martell, a former LinkedIn and Lyft executive, onboard to broaden and accelerate the adoption of all things digital. The office hit its first full strides in June, after subsuming what were the Joint AI Center, the Defense Digital Service, Advana and the chief data officer’s role. Martell has described AI as a vacuous term, and has instead advocated for top-tier analytics and a better grasp of the information already at hand.”

Google has provided a formal record of commitment to work exclusively with Accenture Federal Services on the Patent Search for AI effort. Accenture is the only systems integrator that has an exclusive partnership with Google through the Accenture Google Business Group. Because of this arrangement, this partnership is the only source that can provide USPTO further development of the AI prototype and the data rights that have been agreed to.
