  • Department of Health & Human Services, Food & Drug Administration — Business Data Enrichment Services - The purpose of this request for information is to obtain technical and/or business information and input from the marketplace for project planning purposes to identify potential parties from the marketplace capable of providing Business Data Enrichment Services to implement an enterprise master data management program to improve the completeness and accuracy of existing and incoming data, and ensure all business data are accurate, consistent, and fit for purpose across operational and analytical systems that interact with the Agency.

 

In other data news, on October 23rd, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) published an article entitled Creating the Future of Intelligence with DDI. In this story, Juliane Gallina, the CIA’s Deputy Director of Digital Innovation, explains the agencies evolution towards constant surveillance, using AI and human-machine teamwork to gather intelligence.

Subscription to Comprehensive Oil Price Assessment Reporting Service

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and the Office of Economic Policy require a comprehensive oil price assessment reporting service from a qualified vendor to support our Treasury’s analysis of oil markets especially in the context of the Russian oil price cap (OPC). A critical component of this is that the vendor provides daily price assessments of Russian Urals and ESPO crude oil prices.

Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source for CoStar Leasing Licenses

CoStar is a software license for real estate data used for market research and surveys for commercial real estate nationwide.  The software license provides web access to the CoStar network and provides the available properties on the market and provides reports and other analytics that can be used to support real property negotiations.

Subscription to Seaweb, Movements and Ports Modules

The Bureau of Trade Analysis requires an annual subscription to a commercially available online service that provides detailed information on vessels deployed in the global liner shipping industry. This data shall include information on liner carrier operations, the trade lanes and markets in which they operate, the services they offer, the vessels they operate, and the ports used.

Annual Subscription for PIERS import and export maritime trade data

Federal Maritime Commission

This subscription provides BTA analysts with the market information needed to analyze the competitive impact of carrier and marine terminal operator agreements under the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 2022. The data is also used in analyzing the liner shipping industry and the subsequent development of various work products for use in FMC’s policy decisions. The annual subscription provides continued access to Port Import Export Reporting Service (PIERS) data for up to 15 users.

Port Performance Subscription

Federal Maritime Commission

The requirement is to provide access to the Port Performance dashboard. IHS Global is the only provider of this data in a current, online database of global maritime ports. This subscription provides BTA analysts with global maritime port, terminal and berth metrics needed to analyze port delays, congestion and supply chain bottlenecks to assist in developing various work products for use in FMC’s policy decisions.

Lawmakers want DOJ to create national human trafficking database

The legislation — sponsored by Reps. Kevin Kiley, R-Calif., Harriet Hageman, R-Wyo., Yadira Caraveo, D-Colo., and Hank Johnson, D-Ga. — would award grants to state law enforcement agencies to incentivize the reporting of more detailed human trafficking data to the DOJ's Office for Victims of Crime. Officials who receive grants would be required to submit state and county data on cases of labor trafficking and sex trafficking, including aggregated and anonymized data from the National Human Trafficking Hotline and anti-trafficking organizations operating on the state level.
