Todah Rabah: Annual Campaign Surpasses $10 Million

Thanks to your generosity, our 2026 Annual Campaign has achieved a historic milestone of raising more than $10 million! This means we can do more to support our Houston Jewish community, Israel, and Jewish people around the world. As One, we can secure and advocate for our future, deepen Jewish engagement, expand Jewish educational opportunities, stand with the people of Israel, and empower our next generation in leading the way. Please take a moment to watch a special message from our team and Campaign leadership! There's still time to join the momentum. If you haven't given yet, make your gift today.

Impact Moment: Israel Volunteer Trip

Our Israel volunteer trip for Houston Jewish Communal Professionals in partnership with Taglit-Birthright Israel has come to an end. Twenty-four participants, mostly strangers, representing 10 Houston Jewish organizations, became mishpacha (family) and experienced a trip of a lifetime. We came to volunteer but we left forever changed. The impact wasn't just in the trees we planted at Kibbutz Nir Oz, the communities we served distributing food packages, or the stories we heard at the site of the Nova Festival, it lives in us now. We came to strengthen Israel, and Israel strengthened us! Don't miss your chance for our next trip. Watch the recap of our amazing experience.

Save the Date: Community Leadership Awards

Mark your calendars for September 3 for this year’s Community Leadership Awards where we honor community members of all ages from our lay leaders to community professionals to educators who are making an impact on our Greater Houston Jewish community. This year’s theme will be: Strong Roots, Shared Branches: Honoring the Leaders who Help Us Thrive.  We are excited to share this year’s winners with you soon so be on the lookout!

Take Action: Strengthen Security for Jewish Communities

As threats against Jewish communities continue to rise, national Jewish organizations are advocating for stronger security resources to help protect synagogues, schools, community centers, and other vulnerable nonprofits. Two federal priorities need community support right now: increased funding for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program (NSGP) and passage of the bipartisan Jewish American Security Act. You can help support this effort.

Urge Congress to co-sponsor and pass the bipartisan Jewish American Security Act, which would authorize the Nonprofit Security Grant Program at $1 billion and advance additional federal tools to combat antisemitism and strengthen community security.
