Federal Funds Available for Sustainability and Climate Mitigation Projects
Sustainable CT can help you get them
The 2022 Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) provide unprecedented funding opportunities for climate solutions, clean energy, infrastructure improvements, and more. Sustainable CT and our partners are eager to help your town develop winning community-led proposals to bring funding to your town and improve the quality of life for all.

Connecticut municipalities are urged to review our web page, Support in Winning Federal Grant Funds for Your Town, to discover the many ways Sustainable CT can be of assistance in this process. We provide Equity Coaching support to ensure that your federal and state grant proposals advance environmental justice; opportunities are available for project partnerships and letters of support that can boost federal grant proposals; we can connect you with Connecticut Councils of Government that offer various forms of grant support to their member municipalities; and we have a list of tool kits, grant listings, and other resources for municipalities and organizations seeking federal funding from the IRA and BIL.

To discuss how Sustainable CT can be of assistance in pursuit of federal funding sources, contact our program manager for sustainability best practices, Kate Richard, at kater@sustainablect.org or 860-259-4734.
