Maryland is welcoming federal assistance spurring important investment in public and private infrastructure, through a variety of federal initiatives enacted during the pandemic.

Maryland will receive support for critical resilience projects through a new PROTECT initiative, and will get help in retooling for tomorrow’s workforce needs with clean energy training grants. Meanwhile, schools and local governments continue to implement recovery efforts to get “back on track” toward normal functions, supported by federal resources.
