Federal Relief Update - Send a Message to Washington

The current federal relief package is at $1.6 Trillion including the following measures:

Small Business Relief Plan : Much progress was made yesterday on a small business relief plan. Rubio, Mnuchin, McConnell, Schumer, Pelosi and McCarthy are meeting in McConnell's office at 11 AM EST with a vote expected at 3PM today. Now at $350B with broad bipartisan agreements from Chairman Marco Rubio (R-FL) and ranking Democrat Senator Ben Cardin (D-MA), with leadership from Senators Collins (R-Maine), Shaheen (D-NH), and Durbin (D-IL) - the plan includes cash loans to small businesses & nonprofits at 500 employees or below; forgivable loans from existing local lenders if they show cash went to cover worker payroll + business expenses (rent, utilities, healthcare costs etc).The IRA is pushing for the definitions of a business to be expanded to include all entities with 500 persons or less. 

Unemployment Relief for Laid off Workers:  Now at $500B (Trump/Mnuchin, Schumer/Pelosi)
