Dear CSAN Members and Friends:
Hi everyone, we have a couple pieces of information to pass along to you today:
(1) Through the National Alliance we have recently partnered with Bellwether Education Partners to produce the attached document entitled "Federal COVID-19 Response Legislation and Charter Schools: What Charter Schools Need to Know."
(2) T
he CSP Grant to State Entities competition was previously due April 13. Due to the national crisis, the deadline for transmittal of applications has been extended until May 15.
We are also working to try to obtain some more flexibility on the possible uses of CSP monies and will keep you informed of that effort.
As always, thank you for all your efforts during this time. I know by nature public charter schools protect their autonomy, as well you should, but that may lead to feeling that you are on your own. You are not. The entire public charter school sector of Nevada is going through this with you. We are a community and just like the state and the country as whole, we will get through this by having community come together.
