3 HONEYMOON ISRAEL: ONE YEAR LATER
“The trip was the catalyst, but the real magic has been what we’ve created of it since.”

Josh Rosard pulls up a spreadsheet on his phone. Its title is “Shabbat Scramble” and the rows and columns make up a six-month plan of attack to help 38 busy people meet up regularly for Shabbat dinner.

Maintaining friendships as an adult is difficult. But for the 19 Twin Cities couples who traveled to Israel with Honeymoon Israel just over a year ago, the extra effort is worth it.
Mickayla and Josh Rosard in the Sovev Kinneret, St. Paul's Partnership Region, during the Honeymoon Israel trip sponsored by St. Paul and Minneapolis Jewish Federations last year.

Right now, our second group of Honeymoon Israel couples is in Israel. Follow their photo journey on Facebook!

Standing up for Jews everywhere and protecting our community
5 NO HATE. NO FEAR.
Thank you to the more than 1,400 Minnesotans who gathered on Tuesday, January 7 in solidarity against anti-Semitism. It demonstrated that the Minnesota Jewish community will never stand alone, and we are deeply grateful for that. Governor Tim Walz spoke powerfully saying "You have my pledge…[that] the authority that I have, and the resources of the entire state of Minnesota, will be brought to bear [so] that every single one of you can feel safe in your community, safe in your schools, safe in your worship, and safe in your lives."

No Hate. No Fear. was organized by the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas, St. Paul Jewish Federation, Minneapolis Jewish Federation, Jewish Community Action, TC Jewfolk, NCJW Minnesota, Minnesota Hillel, Hadassah Minneapolis, Minnesota Rabbinical Association, Minnesota Cantors Association, ADL Midwest, and AJC - American Jewish Committee.
