1 YAD B'YAD CAMPAIGN FOR COVID RELIEF: A MESSAGE FROM DR. JIMMY LEVINE, CHAIR
As a doctor, I see firsthand the devastating effects of COVID-19 in Minnesota. As a member of the Jewish community, I see the impacts of this pandemic across our institutions.

In our lifetime, there has been no greater challenge to the fabric of our community. The way in which we respond now will define us for years to come.

I believe we must act now because our friends and neighbors are hurting:
  • 250% increase in requests for emergency financial assistance
  • 50% increase in demand for Kosher Meals-on-Wheels
  • $38,000 per week cost of COVID safety measures

As our Jewish institutions faithfully serve our community, they are experiencing unprecedented challenges:
  • $1,000,000+ revenue losses: Membership fee and program cancellations
  • $200,000+ new costs as a result of COVID-related expenses

Please help today - Take advantage of matching funds and make an even greater difference!

Every dollar you give will be matched by 50%* when you make a new gift to Yad B'Yad by Dec. 31, 2020.

$100,000 in matching funds has been earmarked for St. Paul by the Jewish Federations of North America Human Services Matching Fund. Help us turn $200,000 into $300,000 with your gift!

Your ONE gift to Yad B'Yad ensures that our community's response reaches ALL agencies that are providing critical services.

Thank you in advance for your generous support. It means a great deal to our community.

With warm regards,

Jimmy Levine

4 RAJMN: A BRIDGE BETWEEN RUSSIAN AMERICAN JEWS AND OUR JEWISH COMMUNITY
“RAJMN is meaningful to me because it brings our community together. It’s people that come from Russian Jewish families like mine, so we all have that similarity,” said RAJMN Teen Fellowship participant Sarah Braginsky.

Russian American Jews in Minnesota (RAJMN) is a program for young families, working to connect them to the larger Jewish community in Twin Cities and provide a deeper understanding of Judaism and Russian-Jewish roots. Founded by the St. Paul Jewish Federation in 2003, RAJMN has served 3,000 Russian Americans in the Twin Cities with local programming and opportunities to travel to national and international Jewish conferences.
