Join us for Etz Chayim: A Tu B'Shevat Seder to celebrate the "New Year of the Trees" with Hillel Calgary and Friends of JNF on Wednesday, January 28 at 6:30pm at the Paperny Family JCC! Enjoy a meaningful evening as we explore the traditions of Tu B'Shevat through a special seder featuring the seven species of Israel, four cups of wine (or juice), delicious food, and a special visit from two Shlichim (Israeli emissaries). This event offers a unique opportunity to connect with the land of Israel, share a communal meal, and learn about Jewish environmental traditions. Momentum applications are now open! Momentum is a powerful year-long journey designed for Jewish mothers who are ready to grow as leaders, deepen their Jewish identity, and build meaningful connections with other women in our community. The program includes learning, community building, and an unforgettable trip to Israel, taking place approximately from May 10 to 18, 2026.
