Join us for a fun, family Chanukah Circus Party on Saturday, December 9 at the Paperny Family JCC. In partnership with PJ Library® and the JCC, we'll kick the night off with Havdallah at 5:30pm followed by a circus performance at 6:00pm. Enjoy crafts, treats, and more! Calling corporate Calgary – step away from your desk and join Calgary Jewish Federation and BD&P Law Firm for a Downtown Latke Lunch at 2400, 525 8 Avenue SW on Monday, December 11. Drop in anytime between 11:30am and 1:00pm, and continue your Chanukah festivities with a latke (or two!), a nosh, and schmooze. Food will be provided by Karen's Café. Calgary Jewish Federation's Emerging Gen department is offering two festive experiences for our university and young professional demographics. Post-secondary aged community members and friends are invited to attend Hillel's Chanukah Party on Wednesday, December 6 from 6:00 to 9:00pm. JAC (for post-grad age to 40ish) is hosting the quintessential Chanukah-themed Brunch on Sunday, December 10 from 10:00am to noon. For more information contact Hannah Giesinger.

Did you know that your UJA gift connects the communities in the Etzba Hagalil (The Galilee Panhandle) and Canadian Coast to Coast communities? We work together to build connections, support the northern periphery of Israel, and keep connected through face-to-face and virtual gatherings. We in the Diaspora Jewish community are forever linked with our family in Israel and continuously work to build "living bridges" and deep connections.

Many of the families in this region of Israel have been displaced for almost two months due to the ongoing war, as well as security issues they face living on the border. As part of a P2G Virtual Chanukah Program, we will be lighting the first candle together on Thursday, December 7 at 10:00am. Mark your calendar for next week and join us here!
