We'll begin at the Paperny Family JCC field at 11am with welcome remarks, then walk together in solidarity, followed by entertainment, games, community booths, and our Rosh HaShanah market! Bring your friends. Invite our allies. Let's walk together – in strength, hope, and unity. More details coming soon. Be sure to register for this free event! Thank you to our title sponsor, the Balaban Family.

Join PJ Library® for the upcoming Simcha Series, led by Special Educator Andrea Scharfstein, in a welcoming space that celebrates and affirms neurodiversity. Our Tu B'Av Simcha Series takes place on Sunday, July 19 at the Paperny Family JCC. PJ Library participants are invited to immerse themselves in play-based holiday themed learning. The thoughtfully-designed spaces will encourage exploration, creativity, and hands-on learning experiences related to Tu B'Av (Jewish day of love). There are three sessions available – choose the one that works best for you:

• Session 1 - 9:00 to 10:00am: Ages three and under (and their siblings)

• Session 2 - 10:15 to 11:15am: A smaller group session for participants of all ages, who thrive in a more intimate setting

• Session 3 - 11:30am to 12:30pm: Open session for all PJ families.

Calling all volunteers (ages 7 to 100)! Make a difference and join our incredible team of volunteers to help create a more inclusive community. Volunteer with Kesher, our vibrant social and recreation program for Jewish adults with disabilities, or join our NEW Chavruta – Friend 2 Friend Program. Friend 2 Friend connects children, teens, and adults with disabilities with caring volunteers to build meaningful one-to-one friendships. Together, participants socialize, stay active, explore the community, and create lasting connections in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Whether you can volunteer a few hours a month or more, your time can make a lifelong impact. For more information, contact Karina Szulc.

Did You Know? Every investment in a child is an investment in the future of Jewish Calgary. Calgary Jewish Federation (CJF) helps children access meaningful Jewish education and experiences by investing in opportunities that help them learn, grow, and build a strong Jewish identity. Through the Integrated Bursary Program (IBP), Federation removes financial barriers so more children can attend Jewish day school at The Calgary Jewish Academy, Halpern Akiva Academy, and summer camp at Camp BB Riback and Camp JCC. Federation also invests in our day schools by supporting enrichment opportunities, gifted and special needs programming, and inspiring educational experiences. By investing in children today, CJF is helping raise the next generation of confident, engaged, and connected Jewish leaders… That's Federation.
