Did you know? Calgary Jewish Federation's Community Relations Committee (CRC) is a powerful voice for the Jewish community? By building strong alliances with elected officials, diverse communities, and public institutions, the CRC actively fights antisemitism, educates the broader public about Jewish culture, and fosters an inclusive society. Through the monitoring of social and political issues that impact Jewish life, the CRC strives to ensure safety, equity, and resilience. Their work in public engagement, coalition-building, and advocacy, in partnership with Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA), is essential to safeguarding and strengthening our community.
On November 6, 2024, CRC leaders, in partnership with the Jewish Federation of Edmonton and CIJA, met with elected officials in Edmonton to address critical issues, strengthen political alliances, and advocate for urgent action against rising antisemitism.
Your support through UJA makes these efforts possible! Donate today to help the CRC expand educational programs, community outreach, and advocacy for a more inclusive Calgary.
