Calgary Jewish Federation, in partnership with Solid Rock Baptist Church, invite you to Bridges of Faith: Christian-Jewish Allyship In Our Modern Day on Sunday, June 28 from 5:30 to 7:30pm at Beth Tzedec Congregation. This special, free event is dedicated to strengthening relationships between the Jewish and Christian communities in Calgary and beyond. A moderated conversation will be featured, with Brother Chris Morales, CEO of Arieh Ventures and a leading Israel-based Christian missionary. On June 1, Temple B'nai Tikvah was alive with the sound of music! Choirs of the World: A Celebration of Voices Across Cultures, presented by the Paperny Family JCC Arts & Culture department and powered by Calgary Jewish Federation, was a resounding success and a joy for everyone who attended. The multicultural choral concert featured the JCC Voices Adult Choir, as well as Cantaré Latin Choir, Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School Choir, Big Rock Singers, and Yodel Club Heimattreu Choir. The songs performed ranged from Hava Nagila to Besame Mucho to Loverboy's Working For The Weekend, and everything in between, including some very energetic swiss yodeling.
