Please join us for Calgary Jewish Federation's upcoming AGM and Community Shem Tov Awards on Wednesday, June 18 at 7:00pm at the Paperny Family JCC. We will provide an annual update, present the financials, elect our board of directors, and celebrate Jewish Calgary's amazing volunteers who have made a difference! Registration is not required.

JAC has an exciting program planned on Thursday, June 19 from 6:00 to 9:00pm. Afterwork Collective Finale Night will be an elegant evening featuring a delicious three-course meal, drinks, and inspiring conversation at Alloy. Past speakers return for a final celebration, and special guest Jordan Balaban will share insights on leadership and philanthropy in the Jewish community. Register now for this intimate event if you fit the JAC demographic (25 to 40ish). If you require a certified kosher meal, please indicate this in your registration.

Our Kesher Inclusion group gathered for a joyful Lag B'Omer Celebration. Led by Rabbi Leonard Cohen, members enjoyed songs and stories around a cozy, indoor "bonfire". Even the rain outside couldn't stop the fun! Everyone came together to share laughs, make memories, and enjoy delicious s'mores. Kesher provides members with meaningful opportunities to grow community and celebrate together — and this holiday event was a perfect example of that spirit!

Did You Know? Ten incredible moms from Calgary recently traveled to Israel as part of the Momentum experience — a life-changing journey designed for Jewish mothers to connect more deeply with their heritage, values, and community. While in Israel, they met with Israeli moms from our partner region, building friendships and strengthening the global Jewish connection. This trip, powered by Momentum in collaboration with PJ Library®, is all about inspiring Jewish moms to bring the spirit of Israel back home to their families and communities.
