Federation was pleased to host a group of 23 students from the Faith and Spirituality Centre at the University of Calgary for a lively dialogue about Judaism and the role religion plays in our lives. The visit to the JCC and synagogues was part of the Kaleidoscope Project , where students spend a week exploring religious diversity in Calgary.
Meaningful inclusion was the topic in Jewish Calgary during Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month ( JDAIM ). This week, keynote speaker Dr. Stephen Shore shared his personal story of life on the autism spectrum and explored strategies for turning difficulties into strengths.  Don't miss the documentary film " Life, Animated " and post-film discussion for JDAIM with Jared Shore , this Tuesday, 6:30pm at Beth Tzedec.
Today we bid farewell and best wishes to Jordan Waldman , Calgary Jewish Federation's Young Adult and Hillel Director. He will be heading to Ottawa for new opportunities with the Jewish Federation there. B’hatzlacha Jordan! We wish you great success!
