This past Sunday, Calgary Jewish Federation, in collaboration with the Calgary Council of Christians and Jews (CCCJ), hosted Media Bias in a Post-October 7 World an engaging and thought-provoking evening featuring Mike Fegelman from Honest Reporting Canada. The event was moderated by Kevin Libin of PostMedia. The evening began with Rabbi Cantor Russell Jayne leading a heartfelt Moment of Remembrance in honour of the Bibas Family and Oded Lifshitz, acknowledging the impact of their lives and ensuring their memories continue to resonate in our hearts.

The Calgary community came together to engage in a crucial discussion that emphasized the importance of standing with truth, especially in times of misinformation. Thank you to CCCJ, Beth Tzedec CongregationB’nai Brith Calgary Lodge #816, and Honest Reporting for their partnership in bringing this significant conversation to light.

On February 22, PJ Dads gathered at The Garage for a fantastic evening filled with pool, ping pong, and great company. It was a wonderful opportunity for dads in the community to connect, unwind, and enjoy some fun together.
