On July 5, guests enjoyed latkes, live music, and 'beermosas' at the annual Suds and Spuds Stampede Breakfast hosted by Calgary Jewish Federation, CIJA, and CJPAC. Attendees included elected officials, business representatives, Calgary community leaders, and more. This event was one of Federation's community relations initiatives, and is one of the many ways that Jewish Calgary is building bridges and strengthening outreach to the broader community. On Sunday, July 28, join JACFit on a hike at Ptarmigan Cirque, Kananaskis . Get back to the great outdoors with this moderately-rated 5k loop. On July 7, HOJMI hosted a community-wide free Stampede breakfast in collaboration with Calgary JCC . Guests were treated to a live Klezmer band and a delicious kosher meal of eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes. Kids especially enjoyed playing in the bouncy castle and taking part in pony rides. Kol hakavod to HOJMI , the JCC and the many volunteers who made this event a success.
