On January 22, Calgary Jewish Federation’s Inclusion department and Paperny Family JCC hosted a fantastic inclusive arts program: Winter Art and Lights, facilitated by artist, Alan Briks. This multi-faceted program combined elements of movement, meditation, and art. We are deeply grateful to our generous sponsors Lenny and Faigal Shapiro and family for their support of ‘wellness for all’, and inclusion programming in Jewish Calgary. For more information on community Inclusion programs contact Calgary Jewish Federation’s Inclusion Manager, Karina Szulc.

On Thursday, February 9, from 1:00 to 2:00pm EST (11:00am to 12:00pm MST), join Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) in a webinar exploring the long-debated relationship between religion and the state of Israel. Some members of the Israeli government are determined to make changes to the current situation, and this is reflected in the coalition agreement. Join JFNA to learn more about which changes may be made and the possible consequences. Register for free today. We know many in our community are keen to know more about the evolving situation in Israel. Stay tuned, as we will continue to share further resources and information from our partners.
